Tax Free Weekend! August 19th through August 21st
School is almost back in session. BOOOOO! However, one of the few few good things about school being back in session (besides that whole "expanding the mind" business) is Tax Free Weekend! This weekend, starting Friday, August 19th through Sunday, August 21st, is Tax Free Weekend.
The following are the items that are tax exempt:
Clothing and footwear under $100
School supplies under $100
Backpacks under $100 for elementary and secondary students
Includes layaway items
When shopping, keep in mind that it is only a savings of 8.25%, so it might be a good idea to not buy items that you don't really need just because of this discount. Keep in mind what sales are going on at various stores, online shopping savings, coupons you may have, and so on. Click HERE for an extended list of what is on sale.
