The SHSU Biology Department is raising money this weekend with a garage sale. This is exciting, because obviously the people within the Biology Department most likely have some VERY interesting stuff that they will be selling.

Will you see only the typical garage sale stuff like broken lamps, VCRs, and old rocking chairs or will it be filled with cool nerdy stuff like magnifying glasses, ant farms, bloody lab coats,human organs models, and other random lab equipment? I am getting very excited about the latter possibilities, but there is only one way to find out and that is by going out there on Saturday and checking it out! Getitgetitgetit, guys!

$1.99 sandwiches at Schlotzsky's and FREE hot dogs in front of Target!

We love cheap food, and FREE is even better!

In celebration of Schlotzsky's 40th birthday, the small original is only $1.99 today, October 4th! I just ate mine, and it was just as good as usual! This deal is for today only! Go and get it guys!

Also, there will be FREE hot dogs today in front of Target for the National Night Out!

Free Drinks @ Lizard's Tonight (9/26)

If you show up at Lizard's (1231 Josey St.) tonight between 9 & 12, the host of the pool tournament (Jon) will buy you a drink. If you participate in the tournament, you get 2 free drinks and free pool all night.

Sammypalooza: Free for Students, Faculty, Staff (Fri., Sept. 30)

We've already mentioned this in the Night Life blog, but we thought we would remind you that tickets are FREE for SHSU students, faculty, and staff. You can pick up your free ticket by taking your BearKat OneCard to one of these offices: BearKat OneCard office in the Estill building, Student Activities office in the LSC, or Rec Sports Dept. in the HKC.

Tickets are now on sale to the public, so be sure to grab your ticket in case they sell out. Tickets for the event are available to the general public for $25. For more info on purchasing tickets, click here.

Tuesdays @ Mr. Hamburger: Kids Eat Free

Hey, hamburger fans. On Tuesdays at Mr. Hamburger, if you purchase any burger, side, and drink, you can get a kid's combo free. This is valid for kids 12 and under.

Furthermore, on Mondays, you can get a regular burger and fries or onion rings for $5.

National Guacamole Day = Free Guacamole at Schlotsky's!

Holy guacamole, Batman!

Do you hate having to pay a little extra just to get a spoonful of tasty guacamole on your sandwich or plate? So do I, but LUCKILY, there is a thing called National Guacamole Day!

With that in mind, keep on the lookout for Guacamole deals tomorrow! The only one I know about for sure is the one at Schlotzsky's.

3 Spoons "Re-Grand Opening" (Thurs., Sept. 8)

Hey, frozen yogurt lovers! This Thursday, 3 Spoons is having what they are calling a "Re-Grand Opening." We're not sure why, but that's not the point. The point is that the first 50 people will get free yogurt once per week for a year. Furthermore, until 2pm, all yogurt will be 50% off.
